A particularly intensive colourfulness is created as a consequence of using the eggtempera mixing technique. The cycle creates for the first time the expression of pararealism in painting.

Journey to Planetoplan was produced during Artberg's first stay in Normandy. The house where he lived had a leaking roof, causing wet walls during rain. In that first winter, the house was hardly ever more than 14 degrees centigrade. Over the years when Artberg lived in this house, some of these problems were solved. Step by step comfortable conditions for work and life developed.
